DAY 1: HANOI – HALONG BAY – LAN HA BAY

Pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter for transfer to Halong (applicable to guests booking our transfer service).

11:30 – 12:00 | Arrival at Tuan Chau Port

12:30 | Boarding the Amanda Luxury Cruise
Guests transfer by tender to the Amanda Luxury Cruise (approx. 30–45 minutes). Upon arrival, enjoy a welcome drink as the cruise manager introduces safety guidelines and outlines the detailed itinerary.

12:30 | Lunch on Board
While the cruise sets sail toward Lan Ha Bay—a quieter extension of Halong Bay—guests are served lunch. The journey passes by iconic landmarks such as Finger Islet, Candle Islet, and countless limestone formations.

15:30 | Excursion to Tra Bau
Explore the scenic Tra Bau area by kayaking or swimming. This spot is also known as one of the filming locations for Kong: Skull Island (2018).

17:00 – 18:00 | Sunset Party & Cooking Demonstration
Back on board, enjoy a relaxing Sunset Party on the sundeck with tea, coffee, and the “Happy Hour” deal – Buy 2, Get 1 Free. A Vietnamese chef will also guide you in preparing traditional spring rolls, which you can enjoy afterward.

19:00 | Gala Dinner on the Sundeck (weather permitting)
Dine under the stars with a candlelit Vietnamese dinner on deck (subject to weather).

20:00 – 23:00 | Evening Entertainment
After dinner, enjoy the tranquil night scenery of Lan Ha Bay. Activities include bamboo dancing, the Footsteps of Heritage ethnic fashion show, squid fishing from the tender, herbal foot soak (one complimentary session per cabin), or optional services such as drinks at the Sky Bar and massage treatments.

The cruise anchors in a peaceful area for the night.

DAY 2: LAN HA BAY – VIET HAI VILLAGE – CAT BA ISLAND

06:15 | Tai Chi Session
Start the day with a Tai Chi class on deck while enjoying the calm atmosphere of the bay. For sunrise views, wake up around 5:30–6:00 depending on the season.

06:30 – 07:15 | Light Breakfast
Tea, coffee, and pastries are served in the restaurant as the boat heads to the next destination.

08:30 | Visit Viet Hai Village – Cat Ba Island
Take a smaller boat through Lan Ha Bay to Viet Hai dock, then cycle about 5 km into the village nestled inside Cat Ba National Park. Guests preferring not to cycle may choose an electric car ride instead. The village remains pristine despite its growing popularity among international visitors.

The cruise anchors in a quiet, scenic area for lunch.

13:00 – 14:00 | Kayaking at Tai Queo Cave
Kayak through Tai Queo Cave with your guide, entering a hidden lake encircled by limestone cliffs, often called the “Dragon’s Eye.”

14:00 – 14:30 | Swimming at Ba Trai Dao
Relax and swim in the pristine waters of Ba Trai Dao Beach.

16:00 – 16:30 | Return to Amanda Luxury Cruise
Back on board, enjoy fresh fruit on the sundeck as the cruise sails past the anchorage area. Guests on the 3-day, 2-night itinerary can also enjoy the four-season pool or complimentary sauna.

17:00 – 18:00 | Sunset Party & Cooking Class
Unwind with the Happy Hour sunset celebration and another cooking class, where the chef introduces more traditional Vietnamese dishes.

19:00 | Gala Dinner on the Sundeck
A delightful dinner is served while admiring the evening landscape of Lan Ha Bay.

20:00 – 23:00 | Evening Activities
Guests may join bamboo dancing, the ethnic fashion show, a complimentary herbal foot soak, squid fishing, or optional experiences such as Sky Bar cocktails and onboard massage treatments. The ship anchors overnight in a calm area.

DAY 3: LAN HA BAY – HALONG BAY – HANOI

A refreshing Tai Chi session on deck to embrace the early morning beauty of the bay.

06:30 – 07:00 | Morning Refreshments
Enjoy tea, coffee, and light pastries at the restaurant.

07:15 | Transfer to Quan Y Cave
Board the tender to Gia Luan Pier, followed by a 20-minute car ride to Quan Y Cave.

08:00 | Discover Quan Y Cave
This cave served as a wartime hospital during the American resistance, equipped with treatment rooms, recovery areas, and even a cinema for injured soldiers—an important historical relic inside a limestone mountain.

09:00 | Return to the Cruise

09:30 | Cabin Check-out

09:45 | Early Buffet Lunch
Guests enjoy a buffet lunch on the 2nd-floor restaurant before departure.

10:45 – 11:15 | Disembark at Tuan Chau Port
The tender returns guests to Waiting Lounge No. 12 at Tuan Chau Pier.

11:30 – Return to Hanoi if you booked the transfer service.

15:00 – 15:30 – Drop-off at your address in Hanoi Old Quarter or the meeting point.
