The famous Canadian travel magazine, The Travel, has recently honored Halong Bay as one of the 10 most beautiful destinations with distinctive characteristics of an Asian country.

According to The Travel, Asia is home to many world-class destinations, ranging from pristine forests, spectacular mountains, and turquoise beaches to ancient cities, sacred temples, and impressive architectural wonders. Halong Bay, Vietnam possesses the majestic natural beauty as well as unique cultural values.

Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Halong Bay is famous for its towering limestone mountains and pristine small islands surrounded by emerald-green seawater.

One of the most prominent activities here is cruising to admire the beauty of the bay. Not only can tourists admire the majestic landscape of the bay, but they can also explore the wonders inside the earth, such as the system of giant caves and glittering stalactites and stalagmites, including Surprise Cave, Virgin Cave, and Fairy Cave, and Kim Quy Cave.

Furthermore, visitors to Halong Bay can also discover the fishing villages on the bay, such as Cua Van, Vung Vieng, Cong Dam, or Ba Hang, and not only enjoy the peaceful atmosphere in the middle of the ocean but also learn about the fishing village’s culture and experience the life of local fishermen.
